AP Jets beat writer Dennis Waszak Jr. meets with Intro to Journalism students

Dennis Waszak Jr.

I had a super-special virtual guest speaker for my Intro to Journalism class on Oct. 20. The last time I spoke to Dennis Waszak Jr. was at the end of 1993, when we were both sophomore journalism majors at St. John’s University.

Dennis is now the AP’s Jets beat writer. His passion for sports and the craft of journalism is as infectious as it was when we first met, and the students learned so much.

Thank you, Dennis!
