  • Patchogue Village: Then and Now (Newsday)
    • Part of my job at Newsday was to work with town beat reporters to come up with ways to make their projects come to life online. One of my favorite examples is this Then and Now slider feature, which you can play around with on mobile.

  • LI Now blog coverage of superstorm Sandy (Newsday)

    • I coordinated the live online coverage of the superstorm Sandy aftermath with the print desk for three days straight, throwing in some of my own writing and urging the use of social media.
  • Town Focus (Newsday)
    • An example of monthly week-long series my team did at Newsday to make sure we kept in touch with communities.
