PCLI places Long-Islander historic marker

Press Club of Long Island Vice President Bill Bleyer, “Walt Whitman” and I at the new historic marker for the original site of The Long-Islander newspaper in Huntington. It was something the club had been working on for months — going back to my stint as editor The Long-Islander. It was a pretty special day, and I was glad to be a part of it.
